TETOR DAL
TETOR DAL
Dal is a very popular Indian Delicacy, which we consume almost every day. Dal is generally consumed by Roti, Bread or rice. Tetor Dal or Bitter Dal is a typical Bengali dish which goes well with hot rice or 'Panta Vat', cooked rice soaked in water for 7-8 hours. This is a bit different dal which soothes us in this pricking heat. Those who don't like bitter gourd or Teto, I bet you will fall in love with it.
So let's check the benefits:
Papaya:

N/B: Please taste your food before serving. I am a bit health conscious so I haven't cook the dish as usual. I used a pressure cooker for fast and healthy cooking. If you want you can fry all the veggies separately and cook. Also, can cook the dish is a Kadai. Personally speaking, I love this dal cold and cooked a day before consuming. It thickens and become tastier.
