CHOCO JHURJHURA

CHOCO JHURJURA

Sweet is a craving that is never satisfied. And if it's a fusion of 'Sandesh' and 'Chocolate', no one can just have one. Children love chocolate and sweets. But do you think that they get the complete nutrition through sweets that are sold in shops?
In daily news, you can see what we feed our family is poisonous. Our children get affected by such harmful chemicals which are used to make 'Chena', milk etc. I always prefer home-made healthy recipes. In my former recipes, you have seen that I always keep the nutrition fact in mind.

So, let's check out the nutrition fact:

Khoya:
  • Good source of Vitamin A
  • Rich in carbohydrates and magnesium
  • Absorbs calcium which is good for teeth.
  • Prevents cancer
Home-made Chena:
  • Rich in calcium which is good for bones
  • Contains Vitamin A & C
  • Good for heart
  • Rich in protein
  • Rich in folate which is good for the fetal development of expecting mothers

Tried a small experiment making a fusion Misti. Let's get started.

INGREDIENTS: (10-13 Sandesh)
  • Khoa- 200g
  • Chena- 500g
  • Dairy Milk- 156g
  • Sugar- 150g

  • Condensed milk- 4-6 tablespoon
  • Milk if needed to molten chocolate

  7. It will take about 5-6 minutes.
  8. Turn off the flame and let it cool for few minutes.

  10. Divide the mixtures into 10-13 small portions.
  11. Turn each portion into round shapes.
  12. Take each ball, press it gently between your palm. Use your finger to press in the middle.
  13. Now, melt the dairy milk in a double boiler.
  14. Pour it into a piping bag.
  15. Use the piping bag to decorate.
  16. Cut aamsotto into thin slices.
  17. Add aamsotto on the sides alternatively.
  18. Use your fingers to make a cone to place on the top.

N.B: You can you Nolengur, Mango puree and other fillings instead of chocolate.
